Communion Team
Remembering Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross through the act of communion is an important part of services. On a monthly basis this team helps to prepare and distribute the elements during our time of communion.
Discipleship Team
Members of the Discipleship Team have a heart to see people grow in their relationship with Christ and connect in community with others. This team consists of Group Leaders, Class Teachers, and Hosts for discipleship events.
Facilities Team
Our facilities team is tasked with maintaining our building. This includes cleaning and preparing for our services and events, ensuring a great impression for all guests.
First Impressions
First Impressions: At The Woods Church our goal is to make sure that no one gets lost in the crowd at our church. Our team has been designed to help both the regular attender and first time guests connect to the life of The Woods Church. Whether at Sunday service or a special event, our greeters, ushers, and connection hosts ensure everyone has a great experience.
Funeral Team
Our Funeral Team is looking for members who possess the spiritual gifts of mercy, hospitality or discernment so that they can help greet and direct those attending a funeral service here at The Woods Church. We want all who enter to feel welcomed and comforted during such a difficult time.
Kids Ministry
There are many ways to get involved in our Kids Ministry- from caring for the babies in the nursery to being a small group leader for our elementary students. We have opportunities to help in tech during our large group lessons as well as helping with greeting in our Kids Check-in area. Volunteers will be background checked and trained by our staff. No experience necessary.
Kitchen Team
Whether it’s using your skills in the kitchen for large events, baking special treats, or even helping with dishes, this team always has a fun time!
Prayer / Intercessors
Our Prayer Team members have a heart for prayer, our church, and seeing God move. Prayer isn't rocket science, it should be simple, but it has the power to move the kingdom of heaven. These team members pray over each Sunday service, as well as be available after services to intercede for those people who desire one-on-one prayer.
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Team is the perfect place for anyone who has a heart and a desire to pour into the next generation. Whether its leading or co-leading one of our student small groups, pitching in at our mid-week services through technical support or stocking our snack shop, to serving at one of our fundraisers, our Youth Team is a great opportunity to help students (Junior High and High School aged) engage and encounter God.
Production
As a division of Worship & Creative Ministry, this team exists to help extend the Gospel to those watching online as well as providing a notch in-room experience. We train from the ground up and would love to add you to the ranks.
Worship & Creative
The Worship and Creative ministry exists to create atmospheres of worship where people can connect with God with as little distraction as possible. We understand that there is nothing we can do to change the human heart, so we are completely dependent on the Holy Spirit. Through powerful music, passionate singing, and excellent production we offer our very best gifts to partner with the Spirit in leading others to life-giving encounters with God.
